The ClimateSmart Business Cluster Program is about Queensland businesses working together. It helps Queensland businesses team up with a Cluster Leader to identify opportunities and increase knowledge on how to improve energy, water and waste efficiency.

Cluster Leaders motivate, improve knowledge and assist participating businesses reduce business costs by improving eco-efficiency.

Funding of $10, 000 will be provided for approved Cluster Leaders to bring together Clusters of 20 businesses to progress through an 8 month efficiency improvement process.

The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) is calling for Expressions of Interest from potential ClimateSmart Business Leaders to establish and facilitate ClimateSmart Business Clusters. For more information please read the Cluster Funding Overview fact sheet (PDF, 132KB) then contact business.clusters@derm.qld.gov.au for an application pack.
