ClimateSmart Business Clusters
The ClimateSmart Business Cluster Program is about Queensland businesses working together. It helps Queensland businesses team up with a Cluster Leader to identify opportunities and increase knowledge on how to improve energy, water and waste efficiency.
Cluster Leaders motivate, improve knowledge and assist participating businesses to reduce business costs by improving eco-efficiency.
Funding of $11,000 (GST inclusive) will be provided for approved Cluster Leaders to bring together clusters of 20 businesses to progress through a 6-month efficiency improvement process.
The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) periodically calls for Expressions of Interest from potential ClimateSmart Business Leaders to establish and facilitate ClimateSmart Business Clusters.
Businesses wanting to join a cluster and start achieving cost and carbon savings can fill out a business registration form and a DERM officer will contact you when a suitable cluster is forming.
For more information refer to DERM's ClimateSmart Business Clusters information or email business.clusters@derm.qld.gov.au.
